Tea & Technology Chat

16th November 2018

Residents of the almshouses were recently invited to attend an in-house run session on technology. It gave residents the opportunity to come along and learn key tricks and tips, while offering reassurance and unlocking the sometimes baffling mysteries of IT (or should we say, “I Tea”?!)

Armed with their phones, tablets and laptops, the group spent an educational and fun few hours enjoying tea, cake and biscuits. St John’s staff were on hand to answer any questions and to help each other to troubleshoot any problems they had been having with their devices.

Residents learnt how to do new things and polished off some of their existing skill-sets, ranging from sending text messages to internet shopping, taking a screenshot to making a Skype call.

A special thank you to Becky and Teresa for organising the event.
