Advice and Support

Making choices about your care options in later life can be difficult, not least as many of us struggle to accept that we need help at all. Thankfully, there are many options including homecare, sheltered or almshouse housing, a care home or nursing home.

There is also a wealth of advice and information available, both online and via voluntary and statutory organisations. You can go on to the internet to find a whole host of information on what care services are available. There are also online tools that can help you choose what sort of care package you need to make your life that little bit easier.

If you have any questions about almshouse accommodation please contact Vanessa North on 01962 854226.

For any queries regarding dementia care, our Matron at Moorside, Deborah Macartney, is happy to help. She can be contacted on 01962 854548.
