The professionalism and care my relative received from the staff undoubtedly contributed to her contentment and well-being.
My wife Grace has Alzheimer’s Disease and has been living at Moorside for the past three years. Moorside has truly been her ‘home from home’. I visit twice every day and always receive a warm and caring welcome from all members of Moorside staff. The Moorside ethos, quality of care in the purpose-built building and standard of cleanliness is exceptional, providing such a comfort to family members.

It was a traumatic time knowing my Gran could know longer cope at home. The staff at Moorside made this decision easier with their kindness and understanding. My Gran has now been living at Moorside for some time and has improved in herself so much. The staff are kind and caring. I'm so relieved that my Gran is in such a wonderful place.

I shall really miss Moorside and the St John's community in general. I shall take with me many happy memories of Moorside both while Sheila was a resident and since her death. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to volunteer which I have found very rewarding.

My mother lived at Moorside for 18 months and while she was there, she was very happy and contented. The care she was given was outstanding. we felt like family and were always given the opportunity to ask questions. I became a volunteer as I wanted to give something back. Over three years on and it's still so rewarding, helping people living with dementia. The quality of care has continued to be of the highest standard.
