Our residents find it reassuring that the care and support offered by our team is greater than that which would normally be associated with a warden service in sheltered housing. New residents must be in sufficiently good health when they enter the almshouses to be able to lead independent lives and contribute to our community.
Although we are able to assist with many of your care needs, there are some requirements we are unable to help with such as nursing care. We work together with the local authority Adult Services team. The Registered Manager can support you or your family with information about how to contact other services in Winchester and request an assessment. Following this assessment, they will decide if you are eligible for care and support.
We are rated as ‘good’ by our regulator, the Care Quality Commission. As a registered service we are required to display our last inspection ratings. You can read our latest CQC Inspection Report here.
