A team of nurses and carers provide support 24/7 to residents. Residents receive a call every day and at least one visit each week. Our Wellness Clinic, run by a Registered Nurse, provides proactive care, support and advice.
There are many social activities organised; these are resident-led with little intervention from the charity other than providing premises, organisational support and encouragement.
There is a strong sense of family here. Many members of the St John’s Winchester community are good neighbours to each other and are actively involved in the outside community as volunteers and members of community organisations. And for those who prefer to live more quietly and with less interaction with others, that is always respected.
We are rated as ‘good’ by our regulator, the Care Quality Commission. We advise you to take the time to read our accompanying statement regarding our CQC Registration Status, which is displayed to the left of this text. As a registered service we are required to display our last inspection ratings. You can download and read our latest CQC Inspection Report here. Thank you for your cooperation.
