We rely on donations in order to continue with our vital work supporting older people. If you can, please support us as we enter a time of growth and development so that we can help to improve the lives of greater numbers of local older people.
There are many ways in which you can make a donation and every donation, large and small, makes a difference. We are especially grateful for regular donations as these help us with future planning.
We are very fortunate in having been endowed over the centuries by previous benefactors. Those gifts have allowed us to expand our range of housing and to develop nursing care and support for older people in financial or other need. Most of the significant gifts to the charity date back some time in the past. But given the growing cost of providing such a wide range of support, we now need to encourage a new era of giving, so that the work of many centuries can continue for the future.
Our next fundraising event: Mount Snowdon Climb. A group of staff are climbing Mount Snowdon to raise funds for Moorside’s Sensory Therapy Project, designed to enhance the lives of our care home residents living with dementia. Please support our team and donate to the event here.
