We are pleased to announce that the Chapel of St John the Baptist will be hosting another concert this year, led by and as part of the Winchester Chamber Music Festival 2019. This will take place on Wednesday 1st May at 10:30am.
The concert will feature the ‘Sacconi String Quartet’ and musicians Tim Crawford, Esther Hoppe, Max Mandel and Kate Gould will be performing Beethoven String Quartet op. 18 no. 6.
We would like to invite friends, staff, residents, trustees and volunteers of the Charity to the concert. It is the Festival’s twelfth year of running, and quality activities and events will be held in venues across Winchester between 3rd – 6th May.
The concert is also a great opportunity for you to visit our beautiful, historic Chapel, which dates back to the thirteenth century. The Chapel of St John the Baptist is one of the few surviving medieval hospital chapels in the country!
